12 QUESTIONS WITH JACK FOWLER

Can you give us a brief history of your playing career?

I started touring when I was 17, this year I will be 28, so 11 years in now. I wouldn't change it for the world.

What inspired you to start playing guitar?

Right before my grandmother passed away when I was 11 or 12 she bought me my first guitar and said, "Do something special with this; I believe in you...", so I never put it down since that day.

What was your first electric guitar?

A Hohner Black and White Strat-style guitar, which I still have. Came with that little cool 15 watt Crate amp and all.

What was the proudest moment and/or performance of your playing career?

Headlining Roundhouse in London.

Stumbled upon them myself and fell in love...

Charger HB, Jetstream HB

What do you like about your Reverend guitar?

Everything. Unique look and incredible playability!

What amps and pedals do you currently use?

At home is use a Bad Cat "Hot Cat 50" mixed with a PRS Archon. Live, I run AXFX.

Do you have any unusual hobbies, skills, or pastimes you’d like to share with us?

I'm a badass cook, can't skateboard for shit, love dogs.

Do you have any advice for up and coming players?

If you wanna do something with your instrument, never put it down, practice like you mean it, and keep an open mind with all musical genres. Don't block your brain to only one thing - learn it all.
