Love my new Hinson but disappointed there was no case candy other than a neck wrench. Where's the Reverend love? A Hinson sticker or Reverend sticker would have been nice. A bat key chain? An owners manual? I think more companies are doing this now with the advent of computers. I'm a little taken aback.

No case candy? I sort of surprised by that one. By the way I'm still jealous,
but I will have one soon mark my words.

Probably someone in the dealership needed them more than you. I bought a new Rev once from a shop in Florida -- nothing in the case.

Case candy's half the fun of getting a new guitar. Fender usually comes with "stuff". Gretsch comes with a freakin owners "handbook". I just think it cheapens the experience. Even a little printed postcard with a picture of Joe, Ken and the gang and a little thanks for buying our product with maybe a lttle about Reverend would be a nice touch. The price point on these guitars can't be that tight that a little candy in the case would break the profit margin. My first Rev's came with a Reverend strap! Cheap pedals come with a manual and usually a decal or sticker.
Better call security! I'm taking a trip to HQ to pick up my case candy. I think Zack forgot to pack it in the case.
You know I'm really not perturbed. What's more important is the guitar. By the way, took a good deal of hack saw and glue to get the case to fit the Hinson properly. One good drop of the case and that neck would have been history. Elderly did a great job modding the coffin case.

Like I said...it's no biggee really. Those guys have given me waaaaay more in advice, service and cool Reverend "stuff" like posters, bumper stickers, etc. than any free case candy. I just think it would help spread the word (free advertising). Maybe they don't need it with all of us devote's spreading the gospel. Or maybe it would "detract" from the vibe of being a working mans' guitar. Also, they post a lot of info on the web-site. I know I didn't get anything with my Rivera amp or the Scorpion. You would think an amp of all things would have a manual.

The first run of Hinsons didn't ship with anything..
From the second forward they ship with Reverend Sticker / Hinson Sticker and postcard.
The guitar manual is on the website..

Thanks Ken...that explains it. I knew there was a logical explanation. I've got the first run natural maple headstock. Please send the candy...I think you've got my address somewhere. Are we still registering the axes?

Good question re registering. I've bought two new Reverends from
authorized dealers, plus two directly from Joe that stated they came with
warranties. Was I supposed to register them, and if so was there a form?
Not that I expect to need it.

From what I've expereinced first hand, Reverend bends over backwards to help you with any tweaks or problems that may arise, which are extremely rare. I'm not too worried about it, just curious.
