So far this is what we have planed tentatively
Date: Sat. July 25th 2009
Place: Clarkston, Mich.

More details to follow.
If you have any questions or comments please post here.
We need some solid commitment to secure the pavillion we have picked out.

By "solid commitment," are we talkin' about a freewill offering? I'm positively tenative, for now, about being there, but I'd be happy to chip in if you need to make a deposit on the pavilion.

I will pencil in the date.

OK...good start. Before we can totally commit we need some costs and number of attendees. Did'nt you say the pavillion rental was free? Can we BYO beverages or do they need to come from the Eagles? If the Eagles, a keg wouldn't be a terrible cost. I don't think food will be a huge problem. So let's get down to the nitty gritty. What are our expenses?

By solid commitment I mean More people to say they will be there, I'm pretty sure I can get it for little or no cost , If there is any cost I will cover it. As far as drinks go, We can purchase a keg from the eagles and pay a bartender to serve us. You can also buy mixed drinks if you like. You can NOT bring your own it's against the law (LCC).
Expense's:
P.A. System
Food
Paper goods
A Drum kit?
Bass Rig?

No scotty, you should not pickup any pavillion cost if there is one. You are doing the organizing & we should share the costs. I'm checking to see if I can make it, if I can't, I will still pitch in.

Guessing the exact count can be a bit risky. I say, we
advertise the crap out of it through music stores and
this forum and hope for the best. Kind a like
Woodstock.

My first thought was that I could make it but then it hit me, July 25 is number 2 daughter's birthday and no doubt I will be celebrating with her.

Unless our Southern colleague, NorthValley, makes the trek. He could bless the festivities, as well.

I may be involved in a big project at work but I have nothing in stone yet.

Are we using this thread now to keep updated?

Wow! Maybe I could arrange to have my daughter's b day party with you. After all, she will be working at the Tech Center in Warren in July.
