Can you give us a brief history of your playing career?
1978-82 I played in rock bands in the Soviet Union, 1985-90 played in my college band Limpopo and toured East block countries. 1991 moved to US, 1995 started Red Elvises.

What inspired you to start playing guitar?
The Beatles, Rolling Stones and other 60’s bands.

What was your first electric guitar?
My first bass was Czech made Lolanta.

What are your top 5 favorite records?
Abbey Road – Beatles
Sun Sessions – Elvis Presley
1 – Tracy Chapman
Neverland – Bob Shneider
Forever Blue – Chris Isaac

What was the proudest moment and/or performance of your playing career?
We played Live 8 in Moscow in front of 35,000 people and it was broadcasted all over the world.

How did you hear about Reverend?
From my bandmate.

What Reverend guitar(s) are you using?
Frankly speaking, I even do not know their names. I have 5 Reverends love them all.

What do you like about your Reverend guitar?
I like them for being very roadproof. I had a Reverend with 3 holes through the body but I still could play a show, besides the convenience and great tone.

What amps and pedals do you currently use?
I use Fender Hot Rod Deville amp and Boss delay pedal.

Do you have any unusual hobbies, skills, or pastimes you’d like to share with us?
I like to travel all over the world.

Do you have any advice for up and coming players?
Always take your wallet with you on the stage, do not leave it in the dressing room.

Soon we start recording our new album, then flying to Moscow to do a cameo in a movie, and then go on a loooooooong vacation.
